Guess who’s back in town? Our Pennsylvania-bred American Pharoah foal has returned to Walnut Green Farm after a brief trip to Kentucky. The foal’s dam, High Quail, was sent back to Kentucky to be bred for next year’s foal. High Quail was bred to the 2017 champion 2-year-old and Breeders’ Cup Juvenile winner, Good Magic. Now five months old, this little guy is spunkier than ever. In a couple of months, the weaning process will begin and he will officially become a weanling.

“The colt continues to do well. He has remained very correct confirmation wise and has adjusted well back into the herd since returning from Kentucky. We continue to have high hopes for this fella,” said Mark Reid, managing partner of Walnut Green LLC.

We look forward to what the future holds for this little one!
