TRACK HISTORY
When it opened in September 2006, this track was originally known as Harrah’s Chester. To appeal to a larger audience, the track rebranded to Harrah’s Philadelphia in 2012.
RACE HISTORY
Each year, Harrah’s Philadelphia hosts The Maxie Lee Memorial Trot, named after the legendary trainer and driver.

- The track is ⅝ of a mile long and has a limestone surface.
- Part of the track spans a bridge that hangs over the Delaware River.
- Since 2008, Harrah’s Philadelphia has hosted PA Harness Week, a weekly show that airs on NBC Sports Philadelphia.
